Hypnosis - The Key to Finding Freedom!

That just seemed like such a Hollywood title I couldn't help myself because it's true!

What is Hypnotherapy? It's a state of deep relaxation where you can connect your conscious and sub-conscious mind to work together to create beneficial changes in your life.

No, I won't and can't make you cluck like a chicken, but Hypnotherapy can help with so many mental health conditions.

Confidence, anxiety, depression, fears and phobias, weight loss, PTSD, quit smoking - you name it, hypnotherapy can help.

Each session is bespoke to your needs and I also provide you with some self-hypnosis methods to do when you end the course. You learn how to find a deep level of calm to meditate and find the answers inside your mind, and it really can be that simple.

We all learn and take on information differently and this includes the way we process therapy. My job is to bridge the gap between trauma and understanding.

Deep meditation or self-hypnosis techniques can be used as and when needed and can provide easy access to grounding when in difficult situations. From learning to breathe, relax, close off the noise and help you move forward, these techniques can be used in your own time and I happily provide both services. I can either hold hypnosis sessions for you or I can create a package for you to create your own process for times when you need it most.

Some people are sceptical, and, as always they are not afraid to share, but don't be put off! Take a look at our tips to decide whether this is the treatment for you.

Do you connect with your Therapist?

A big part of Hypnosis is trusting your Therapist, and being able to feel safe and relax during the therapy. If you go to a person based on reputation, but you don't feel comfortable relaxing with them, the treatment won't work. If you are not comfortable, you will put up walls and it will fail. This means a negative outlook on the Therapist and therapy.

All therapists should offer a free consultation, so get to know them. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and make sure you have complete confidence in them - if you haven't, you won't be able to open up during Hypnosis.

Qualifications

My advice would be to look for someone who has studied and qualified in a range of talking therapies alongside Hypnosis as they can all be used together to formulate a programme that works for you. When dealing with any therapy, but especially one that is dealing with mental health issues, you need to be happy that they know what they're doing, and can deal with any issues that Hypnotherapy may bring to the fore.

Is your Therapist Accredited and Insured?

The last two points are very, very important, but professional accreditation and insurance is equally so. Just as you would check that your hairdresser or beauty therapist is insured and accredited by a professional body, so should your Hypnotherapist. It is very rare for a problem to occur, but if it does, you need to make sure both you and your Therapist are covered correctly.

If you'd like to find out more about this therapy or any of my others please don't hesitate to contact me. I offer some amazing Hypnosis treatments and would be delighted to discuss them with you. Book here or book a FREE Discovery Call to discuss the right combination of treatments for you.
